A long-time member of the dj collective Overfitting Disco, Jussi Kantonen explores in the unknown territories of disco experience. He has visited discotheques all around the world since the 1970s and has played his rare disco records in Camp Cosmic and Cosmic Gathering festivals, Knock Koenji of Tokyo, UFO Factory of Detroit and Le Nouveau Casino, Le Java and Le Discobar of Paris to name a few. For him the essence of disco is not a mirrorball but a mattress where microscopic tentacles emerge, pore into your folds and fill you with a hunger for strange and unsafe music. When Kantonen plays, one can expect to hear surprising records from any corner of the world.
