An eternal stone is shattered. Continuous growth won’t stop. Memories are dismantled like bombs. The fear of ruin snaps at the heels. Under the surface lurks an implacable wildness. Murskautuminen is a performance that combines text, video and sound to Investigate conflicts, fears, mundane observations and awakenings related to our relationship with nature. It’s an exploration of the nature that lived and breaths all around us. The text for the performance is based on Yhden puun tuho, the debut novel by Katri Naukari. The soundscapes, music and videos for the performance were created by Janne Myllymäki.
