Lazercat

Born in Canada but a resident of Berlin, Lazercat is a producer and DJ who describes herself also as a catlady and outsider. Her journey with music began at the age of 4 with playing violin, which she studied for 15 years, but later she began producing electronic music, making releases since 2011 and running Dreams of Neon electro club events in Berlin. Lazercat began DJ’ing when she had already been a producer for a long time. She has played in Dreams of Neon nights and all around Europe, and recently she made her debut in Panorama Bar. Her sound as a DJ goes from dark and acidic electro to neon-drenched 1980s synth-funk. She is especially interested in tracks overlooked or under-the-radar.
