Precious Bloom is a new duo by Indonesian dj-producer Dea Barandana and vocalist Adinda. Their first collaboration was the track Bersinar Bersamamu they produced together with Discoria earlier this year. Barandana lives in Bali but has dj’d across Europe and several times also in Helsinki. Gilles Peterson has said he is the best dj he has heard in ten years, and Baranda has also played a private gig for Grace Jones. Along his dj career Barandana is a musician and sound producer, and together with Adinda he runs the recording studio and production house Anukara Lab. The influences of Precious Bloom’s music come from Asian city pop style combined with experimental electronics. Their debut album Close To You will be released later this year.
