The Other Sound x Sun Effects ⬟ 22:15
TRAINS creates a dramatic ambiance using human voice, instruments, and machines. They work in long arcs of sound that seem to take their tempos from geological time and washes of sound that are as big and ponderous as the ocean. Trains is the sound of the world being played like a gong. It’s the sound of the sky and the underground; of nostalgia and an almost heedless rush into the future; of waiting impatiently and being content in the moment. Trains consists of Stina Koistinen, Ilkka Tolonen and Ville Hyvönen. They have released two albums: Trains (2021) and Simple Beings (2022).
