The story of Vanhan Porvoon Jäätelötehdas (the old Porvoo ice cream factory) began in the spring of 2017 when the first batch of amazing artisan ice cream spun from Michelin-starred Samuli Wirgentius’ ice cream machine. The atmosphere was enthusiastic and proud. More delicious artisan ice cream needed to be made so that others could taste it too! The best ice cream is handcrafted from the start with local ingredients. Every batch of their ice cream is made with great love and pride.
