Lauratimantti
Laura Lehtinen, also known as Lauratimantti, is an illustrator and visual artist who works on various visual projects and serves as a designer for Flow Festival, executing parts of the festival area’s visual content and concepts. She studied illustration in Barcelona and fine arts in Helsinki and Turku. Lehtinen’s work includes illustrations, paintings, murals, and installations in urban spaces. Her vibrant work can be seen on building facades, skateboards, festivals, and clothing collections, to name a few. Lehtinen has created art and commissioned works around the world.
For Flow Festival, Lauratimantti will bring the Candy Shop container installation and paint the Suvilahti skatepark in collaboration with her artist friends. Back in 2015, Lehtinen and her team were the first artists to paint the skatepark as they created artworks for that year’s Flow. Additionally, visitors will once again be enchanted by Lauratimantti’s Flow letters, which she designs each year with a changing appearance for the festival, now for the sixth time.
In addition to creating her own artworks, Lehtinen curates the Urban Art section for Flow. Eighteen different artists’ works will be displayed around the festival area. Read more about the artists here.
