PetriTuhkanen&VilleTolvanen:FL/UX

Petri Tuhkanen and Ville Tolvanen are executing a two-part work FL/UX that explores the generative motion of light in vertical and horizontal forms. Through the continuous transformation of the artwork, the viewer experiences unique moments while encountering the piece. Instead of individual lights turning on, the artwork is an organically cohesive entity assisted by mechanics, creating continuity through its system. In this work, generative art refers to an artistic practice in which the artist utilises a system to create whole entities.
