JamiFaltin
Black TentJami Faltin grew up in two countries, Finland and Sweden. He started rhyming in Swedish and wrote poems about his life in the suburbs of Stockholm. In 2017, Faltin won the “Ortens bästa poet” stage poetry competition and toured Swedish stages reciting his poems. A career path to Swedish rap was about to open, but then life’s whirlwinds brought him back to Finland. The rapper, who currently lives in Tampere, deals with life’s challenges, crime and the fight against poverty and discrimination in his songs. Faltin, who skilfully rhymes in both languages, rose to wider awareness with his single AMG in 2021. His debut album Kerrostalo, released last year, spent several weeks on the Finnish album charts. The single Magaluf, made with Costi, has also been a success, reaching number two on the Spotify list in Finland.
