Atonal Drums is the solo project of respected drummer/producer Teppo Mäkynen, where acoustic and electronic drums are unleashed on soundscapes created using samples and synthesizers. It may or may not be experimental jazz and exists at the intersection of tonal and atonal, composed and improvised. The live version features one of the most interesting young keyboardists/producers on the scene Nikita Rafaelov. They met playing hoops.
